Swindon Hockey club unveiled a new kit sponsored by e-solutions, and was presented with its England 1st Accreditation Award tonight at an Evening Reception and Press Launch at the Jovial Monk Public House, St Andrews Ridge,
The club now plays its games at Isambard Secondary School in Redhouse.
Cllr Justin Tomlinson, "Having been the Lead Member for Leisure, Recreation & Culture on Swindon Council for four years, I was delighted to support Swindon Hockey club. During the evening there was an opportunity to meet and speak with current Hockey Internationals, committee members and players of the various squads. There was an incredible enthusiasm, and the club has great plans for the next few years to continue progressing towards a national league place.''
