29/03/08 - Conservative Euro Election Candidates Selected

The six Conservative candidates for the South-West Region have been selected for the European Elections in 2009.

They were selected through a ballot of Conservative Party members in the South-West region.

The result of the ballot for the rankings of European Candidates has been announced this afternoon. The candidates are in the following order:

1)       Giles Chichester MEP

2)       Julie Girling

3)       Ashley Fox

4)       Michael Dolley

5)       Don Collier

6)       Zehra Zaidi
